About The Position

The Service Technician operates a company service truck and drives to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks. This role is described as the heart of the business. The technician performs driving and service duties in accordance with USS and Department of Transportation requirements and safety standards, services portable toilets to the USS 8 point service standard, and interacts with customers at their worksites. The position requires flexibility to accommodate route changes and customer needs, as well as communicating routing feedback and discussing customers' current and future portable toilet needs.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver license, either CDL or non-commercial.
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to frequently lift or push between 50 and 150 lbs. during the work shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a company service truck to various locations.
• Service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks.
• Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
• Perform all work duties safely in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to help prevent accidents and injuries.
• Service portable toilets according to the USS 8 point service standard.
• Interact with customers at their worksites to ensure services are completed to their standards.
• Adjust or change routes as needed to meet customer needs.
• Provide routing feedback to the Operations Manager, Supervisor, or Coordinator to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Discuss customers' portable toilet needs to help ensure their current and future needs are satisfied.
