About The Position

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the Service Technician installs, repairs, and operates equipment in support of Polygon US services for its customers, while demonstrating Polygon’s values of Integrity, Excellence, and Empathy. Services include Temporary Climate Solutions and Emergency Drying Services.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and basic mechanical skills.
Ability to perform duties that are physical in nature.
Willingness to work overtime when needed and travel on short notice, sometimes for extended periods, typically 1–3 weeks.
Complete required training within the first six months, including OSHA 10-hour training for general industry; DOT physical and certification; forklift and aerial lift certification; GHS understanding of safety data sheets; hazard communication for general industry; trailer load securement and safety; Electrical Safe Work Practices; Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout Tag Out); Arc Flash; and basic psychometrics.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of technical school or two years of on-the-job experience in a related field.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Set up, maintain, and demobilize temporary climate control equipment on project sites.
When not working on assigned projects, use downtime to maintain and prepare equipment for upcoming projects.
Complete Polygon-provided training requirements within the first six months of employment.
