About The Position

Triton Air & Plumbing is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to provide residential HVAC service. The technician will work directly with clients to explain system issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products and services to support optimal system performance. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems and equipment, including performing emergency repairs, maintaining air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage lines, and documenting repairs in Service Titan and other trade software. Work must meet industry standards, and technical issues must be communicated to clients in a non-technical manner. The stated starting pay range is $100,000 to $200,000 annually, with actual base pay dependent on factors including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility may also be available. Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an HVAC service technician.
Residential HVAC experience.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficient knowledge of different models of HVAC systems.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
May be required to bend, climb stairs or ladders, perform repetitive motions, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run.
May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time.
May be required to maneuver up to 25 lb. by lifting, carrying, or pushing.

Responsibilities

Engage with clients to explain issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products and services for optimal system performance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC systems and equipment.
Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Maintain and perform work on air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage lines.
Accurately track repairs and complete work in Service Titan and other trade software systems.
Ensure work performed aligns with industry standards.
Communicate issues to clients in a non-technical manner.
