About The Position

RDO Equipment Co. in Burnsville is hiring a Service Technician for its Vermeer division. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment accurately and promptly, troubleshooting mechanical issues, communicating with customers throughout repairs, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized shop. Technicians can take company- and manufacturer-sponsored training to keep up with changing technology and develop new skills. The position offers $30–$45+ per hour, a profit-sharing program, tool reimbursement, a career path program, and a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for a limited time, subject to terms and conditions. The Burnsville team serves customers including arborists, landscaping companies, contractors, forestry companies, and municipalities.

Requirements

Mechanical background or schooling in diesel mechanics; diesel mechanic experience is preferred.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Valid work authorization and ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
