About The Position

RDO Equipment Co. is hiring a Service Technician for its Burnsville location in the Vermeer division. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and providing customers with clear, respectful, and timely updates throughout the repair process. The technician will follow safety procedures, participate in company- and manufacturer-sponsored training to keep pace with changing technology, and maintain a clean, organized shop. The position offers hourly pay of $30–$45+ and a limited-time sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for experienced diesel technicians, subject to terms and conditions. RDO also offers a profit-sharing program, tool reimbursement, a comprehensive benefits package, and a career path program. The Burnsville team serves customers including arborists, landscaping companies, contractors, forestry companies, and municipalities.

Requirements

• Mechanical background or schooling in diesel mechanics; diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
