About The Position

The Service Technician is part of the 5-Star Service Team and helps deliver a 5-star customer experience through direct customer interaction. The role works in the field performing warranty services and occasionally taking measurements for new installations. Technicians are expected to be punctual and complete an average of two to four appointments per day. The position calls for a technically skilled, customer-service-minded tradesperson who can manage a preset schedule and adapt to changing workloads.

Requirements

• General knowledge of residential construction, basic home improvement, and maintenance.
• Ability to take measurements accurately and translate them into a variety of applications.
• Strong verbal communication skills and English literacy.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing workloads.
• Familiarity with iPads, smartphones, and business or technology applications.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on quality and results.
• Ability to maintain a preset schedule of job assignments.
• Well-organized, punctual, self-starting, efficient, and productive, with the ability to work well on a team.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 5 years of residential remodeling construction experience, including light plumbing, electrical work, and items associated with bathrooms.
• At least 3 years of exterior residential home improvement experience, particularly with window replacements and bathroom remodeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform warranty services in the field.
• Occasionally obtain measurements for new installations.
