The Residential Service Technician installs and/or repairs commercial doors and door hardware, including roll-up doors, dock equipment, high-speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doors. The technician works safely and identifies opportunities to provide customers with products and services. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in a similar role or in a role requiring mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Successful completion of employment verifications, a background check, a drug screen, and a driving-record check if applicable is required before hire.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a similar role or in a role requiring mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in the door industry.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a range of commercial doors and door hardware, including roll-up doors (also known as dock doors), dock equipment, high-speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner while performing job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
