About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen equipment technicians in the Louisville, Kentucky area. Service Technicians service, repair, and maintain restaurant and other commercial foodservice equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. The role may focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. Hourly rates start at $25.00 and go up to $45.00 based on experience. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000. Technicians receive a company vehicle and perform steady commercial service work. General Parts supports training and career growth, including opportunities to pursue CFESA training certifications.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both.
- CFESA training certifications; technicians are encouraged to pursue them.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair commercial kitchen and restaurant equipment at customer locations.
- Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills, commercial refrigeration such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins, or both.
- Provide service, repair, and maintenance for foodservice equipment.
