About The Position

At El Pollo Loco, the Service Team Member helps create memorable guest experiences by greeting customers, assisting with orders, preparing and assembling food, and supporting restaurant cleanliness. The role provides friendly, efficient service from start to finish while following company recipes, procedures, and standards. Team members collaborate with coworkers and management to meet operational goals and maintain a positive work environment. Previous customer or food service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with restaurant team members and management to achieve operational goals, maintain a positive work environment, and uphold company standards.
Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and helpful manner.
Strive to meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
Assist in preparing food items in compliance with company recipes and procedures, including assembling menu items, shredding chicken, preparing salsa or dressing, and packing condiments.
Process and assemble customer orders efficiently, accurately, and on time.
Use suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness.
