About The Position

Big Al’s is hiring bartenders and servers to provide a first-class guest experience in a fast-paced, team-based environment. The role involves preparing and serving drinks, taking food orders, processing payments, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and supporting opening and closing duties. Team members may also assist in the keg room and lift kegs with coworkers. The position is based in Meridian, Idaho, and is listed as part-time.

Requirements

• Serving or bartending experience.
• Experience using a POS system; Toast experience is a plus.
• Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting face-to-face with guests.
• Strong guest-service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to process sales transactions and upsell.
• Commitment to safety.
• Ability to obtain Food Handlers and Alcohol Serving Certifications.
• Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Must be at least 19 years old in Idaho; the posting otherwise states a minimum age of 21.
• Ability to be on one’s feet for extended periods, bend, reach, and push.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally, and more than 50 pounds rarely.

Responsibilities

• Promote Big Al’s promotions and help make each guest’s visit memorable.
• Run drinks and provide friendly service to guests.
• Take food orders and deliver food.
• Process payments and sales transactions.
• Clean and maintain lanes, tables, glassware, and other service areas.
• Stock, organize, and prepare drinks at the bar.
• Assist with keg room duties and lift kegs with teammates when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and alcohol service rules.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other team duties.
