About The Position
The Service Representative provides clerical and pre-admission services for incoming inpatients at Sunnyview Hospital in Schenectady. This is a per-diem position described as a weekday role, with a weekend commitment as needed, and a rotating shift. The representative assists the Admissions Supervisor with insurance reviews, census management, and other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- At least 1 year of experience in an admitting or business office in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work duties.
- Experience with computer-based programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Health Care or Business.
Responsibilities
