About The Position
Diehl Hyundai of Massillon is hiring a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Service Porter to support its automotive service department in Massillon, Ohio. The role helps keep the department running efficiently while contributing to a professional, positive dealership experience for customers. It may suit someone with dealership experience or someone seeking to start a career in the automotive industry. The Service Porter moves, parks, retrieves, organizes, and prepares customer and dealership vehicles, assists service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement, and helps maintain clean, organized service and parking areas. The role also involves greeting customers, checking vehicles for obvious damage, following safety procedures, and providing general service department support. The position is full-time and offers opportunities to learn dealership operations and potentially advance into other dealership roles.

- Experience as a Service Porter, Automotive Porter, Dealership Porter, Lot Attendant, Vehicle Porter, Valet, Car Washer, Detailer, Service Assistant, or Automotive Service Support Associate.
Responsibilities
- Greet service customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Move customer vehicles safely throughout the service department and dealership.
- Park and retrieve vehicles for service customers.
- Organize vehicles in designated service and parking areas.
- Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with vehicle movement.
- Prepare vehicles for customer pickup following completed service.
- Help maintain an organized service drive and parking area.
- Transport vehicles between dealership departments when necessary.
- Assist with dealership vehicle pickups and deliveries as assigned.
- Keep service areas clean, organized, and professional.
- Check vehicles for obvious damage and report concerns to management.
- Help maintain the appearance of customer and dealership vehicles.
- Follow dealership safety procedures when operating vehicles.
- Provide courteous assistance to customers and dealership employees.
- Perform additional service department support duties as needed.
