AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE PORTER
About The Position
HGreg is seeking an energetic, outgoing, customer-service-oriented service lot attendant. The role helps ensure exceptional service by checking vehicle appearance before delivery to customers and provides insight into service-department operations, with opportunities for growth into service technician or other dealership roles. The position involves welcoming customers, inspecting and documenting prior vehicle damage, moving vehicles, assisting with washing, maintaining service areas, making key tags, and stocking supplies. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the United States, hold a valid California driver license, and have a clean driving record. The role requires extended standing and walking and working in varying weather conditions. The schedule is an 8-hour shift with weekend availability.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand interchangeably and for long periods.
- Must be able to use hands, fingers, and arms continually and frequently throughout the day.
- Must be able to bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, and kneel continually and frequently throughout the day.
- Must be able to pick up, lift, and carry items that may exceed 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers promptly and professionally.
- Inspect vehicles for prior damage and document it.
- Park vehicles and retrieve vehicles from the wash.
- Assist with washing cars when necessary.
- Clean the shop, service lobby, and service drive.
- Make key tags.
- Stock the service area as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Operate and drive vehicles or equipment safely.
