About The Position

Audi Glenwood Springs is hiring a Service Porter to help ensure smooth, efficient traffic flow through the service facility, increase customer convenience, and maintain an orderly service parking area. The role includes greeting customers, documenting vehicle information and condition, moving and parking vehicles, supporting loaner vehicle needs, and keeping the service drive clean and safe. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and validation of a driver's license.

Responsibilities

Greet customers entering the service area, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
Determine whether service customers have appointments and record their name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage during a walk-around.
Control service traffic flow and parking, assist with loaner vehicles as needed, and park vehicles after they have been written up.
Drive safely and immediately report any lot damage.
Retrieve customer vehicles from the cashier for pickup, wait at the vehicle for the customer, and thank customers for their business.
Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and identification tags in vehicles taken in for service.
Deliver keys and hard copies of repair orders to the appropriate Service Advisor immediately after parking a vehicle in the service parking lot.
Keep the service drive area clean and safe, free of trash, water, leaves, and dirt.
Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
Make key tags for vehicles.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Follow company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
