About The Position

South Pointe Honda, part of Group 1 Automotive, is seeking a qualified Service Porter. The role supports dealership service operations by moving vehicles, keeping service and vehicle-lot areas orderly, cleaning vehicles after service, and providing customer transportation. The Service Porter is expected to follow safety procedures, report accidents promptly, and interact with customers, coworkers, and vendors in a manner consistent with the company’s values. Timely, professional vehicle pickup and delivery are also part of the position.

Requirements

• Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license in the state of employment and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in the service-area lot and to the service area for customer pickup.
• Perform general cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
• Maintain order in the lot.
• Clean service and other areas as directed by management.
• Keep new and used vehicle lots neat and organized as directed by management.
• Provide transportation for customers.
• Remain alert to traffic flow in service lots.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report accidents to a manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
• Perform timely and professional pickup and delivery of vehicles.
