About The Position

Hilton Head Honda, part of Group 1 Automotive, is seeking a Service Porter to join its expanding service department and represent the Honda brand. The role is suited to someone passionate about customer service who enjoys interacting with people throughout the workday. The Service Porter drives dealership and customer vehicles within the service area, cleans vehicles after service, maintains designated areas, and provides customer transportation. Applicants must be available on weekends and pass the required pre-employment checks and testing. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing applicable pre-employment requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local law.

Requirements

Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver license in the state where the job is located and a good driving record.
Weekend availability is required.
Pass pre-employment background checks, motor vehicle record (MVR) checks, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

Drive dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in the service lot and to the service area for customer pickup.
Perform general cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
Maintain the service area and other areas as directed by management.
Provide transportation for customers.
Remain alert to traffic flow in service lots.
Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report accidents to a manager.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
