About The Position

The Service Porter performs trailer sanitation and moves, positions, and stores equipment throughout the yard. The role includes inspecting incoming and outgoing equipment for damage, defects, or maintenance needs; reporting major facility repairs or maintenance concerns to management; tracking equipment inventory and locations; and maintaining clean, organized campus facilities. This is an in-person position, and attendance at the workplace is described as an essential function. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time-management skills and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, standing, and performing outdoor duties as required.
Adequate vision to safely inspect, move, and position equipment.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to attend and work in person, as this is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

Perform trailer sanitation in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Move and position equipment throughout the yard safely and efficiently.
Identify and report major facility repairs or maintenance concerns to management.
Ensure equipment is parked and stored in designated, safe areas.
Conduct routine inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment to identify damage, defects, or maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate equipment inventories and assist with tracking equipment locations.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of campus facilities.
