About The Position

Springfield Toyota is growing and looking for a customer-focused team member to join our Express Lube Department. This is a unique hybrid role that combines Greeter and Porter responsibilities. If you enjoy working with people, staying active throughout the day, and enjoy the automotive atmosphere, then we want to talk with you! As the first point of contact for our service customers, you'll help create an exceptional service experience while supporting the efficiency and organization of our Express Lube operation.

Requirements

• 1+ year of automotive or customer service experience is ideal, but we're willing to train.
• Friendly disposition and confidence talking with people. You will be ready to have conversations with customers while gathering important information.
• Adept to handle high-volume and adapt to our needs
• A team-oriented mindset, always ready to step in and support colleagues.
• Working knowledge of computers and technology. Comfortability in navigating computer and dealership technologies.
• Comfortable being active throughout the day and working in varying weather conditions.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival.
• Direct customers to the appropriate lane for service.
• Collect and verify customer contact information to maintain accurate records.
• Check lifetime oil change eligibility and confirm any open recalls that you need to schedule or complete.
• Communicate with both customers and the service team to provide a smooth process.
• Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the service drive, customer areas, and vehicle parking lots.
• Assist technicians and advisors with vehicle staging and workflow needs.
• Perform vehicle walk-arounds and basic inspections
• Support the service team with miscellaneous operational tasks to help keep the department running smoothly.
