About The Position

MSS Solutions, LLC is hiring a Service Billing Coordinator to handle billing for service calls and maintenance contracts. The role coordinates the billing cycle from service delivery through invoice generation, prepares accurate and timely invoices, and works with account managers, customers, and accounts receivable to address billing matters. The coordinator also generates billing reports, identifies opportunities to improve billing processes, and assists service coordinators with customer support. Other duties may be assigned by the company.

Requirements

Knowledge of basic accounting and billing experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently against deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with solid follow-up skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Experience with service and accounting software such as Vista.

Responsibilities

Bill service calls and maintenance contracts.
Prepare timely and accurate invoices.
Review billing accounts and resolve discrepancies or issues involving service charges, payment terms, or account history.
Communicate with account managers and customers to ensure accurate invoicing.
Coordinate the billing cycle from service delivery to invoice generation.
Complete billing activities in accounting software and customer portals in a timely manner.
Work with accounts receivable to review and resolve billing issues.
Generate billing reports.
Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and suggest ways to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Assist service coordinators with customer support.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company.
