About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing and Coding Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring accurate and timely processing of medical claims, supporting efficient patient care and revenue cycle management.
Responsibilities
- Review and accurately code medical diagnoses, procedures, and services using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Assist with timely submission of insurance claims while ensuring compliance with payer requirements.
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to facilitate prompt resolution.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of billing and coding activities.
- Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and insurance policies.
- Collaborate with providers and administrative staff to resolve billing issues.
