About The Position
Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for a Service Attendant. The incumbent services buses, vans, and company vehicles and represents the Maintenance Department in a positive, customer-friendly, respectful, honest, and professional manner.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work a 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. shift on various days, Sunday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Clean equipment, vehicles, parking areas, and grounds.
- Operate vehicle washing machines and vacuum cleaners.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Wipe dashboards and windows.
- Dust bus panels, clean tire rims, scrub the back of buses, and pick up trash.
- Operate vehicles on the bus lot.
- Complete major cleaning of transit vehicles monthly.
- Fuel vehicles and steam-clean seats.
- Check oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and antifreeze as needed.
- Prepare oral and written reports of vehicle damage.
- Log mileage and fuel counts.
