About The Position

The B-Helpful Professional is a highly energetic and engaged resource for customers and associates throughout the store. The role supports Bloomingdale’s goal of creating an easy and enjoyable shopping experience through speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork. The associate manages an in-store service hub and assists customers with Buy Online Pick-up in Store orders, straightforward returns, tourism information, and booking appointments for in-store services.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; candidates with this qualification are encouraged to apply.
No experience required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to meet the physical requirements, including prolonged standing and walking; reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping; frequent use of computers and other technology; and frequently lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers, providing genuine and friendly interactions to create an easy, seamless, and enjoyable in-store experience.
Manage an in-store service hub and assist customers with Buy Online Pick-up in Store orders, easy returns, tourism information, and appointments for in-store services.
Use technology proficiently.
Participate in merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
