About The Position

Bloomingdale’s is seeking an experienced culinary professional to facilitate cooking and product demonstrations. The role supports store promotions, recruits outside chefs for special in-store demonstrations, and manages special events. The Culinary Specialist builds customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction and develops familiarity with product information, including features and benefits across Home Store products. The schedule is flexible based on the event calendar and company needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of related experience.
Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers; demonstrate an energetic and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures.
Team player with the ability to work in a learning environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the event calendar and company needs.

Responsibilities

Become familiar with product information, including features and benefits of the employee’s product and all products in the Home Store.
Build customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction.
Conduct cooking demonstrations.
Recruit outside chefs for special events.
Manage special events and support store promotions.
