About The Position

Bloomingdale’s is seeking an experienced culinary professional to facilitate cooking and product demonstrations. The Culinary Specialist supports store promotions, recruits outside chefs for special in-store demonstrations, and manages special events. The role includes learning product information, building customer relationships through personal interaction, and conducting cooking demonstrations. The schedule is part-time and seasonal, based on the event calendar and Company needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and demonstrate an energetic, positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures.
• Ability to work as a team player in a learning environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the event calendar and Company needs.

Responsibilities

• Learn product information, including features and benefits of products in the Home Store.
• Build customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction.
• Conduct cooking demonstrations.
• Recruit outside chefs for special in-store demonstrations and events.
• Manage special events and support store promotions.
