About The Position

The Seasonal Service Associate, referred to in the description as a B-Helpful Professional, is an energetic and engaged resource for customers and associates throughout the store. The role supports Bloomingdale’s goal of delivering an easy and enjoyable shopping experience through speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork. The associate manages an in-store service hub, assists with Buy Online Pick-up in Store (BOPS) orders and easy returns, provides tourism information, and facilitates appointments for in-store services.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; the role may also involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
