About The Position

Bloomingdale’s is seeking an experienced culinary professional to facilitate cooking and product demonstrations. The Culinary Specialist will support store promotions, recruit outside chefs for special in-store demonstrations, and manage special events. The position involves learning product information and engaging with customers to build relationships and loyalty.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and demonstrate an energetic, positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures.
• Ability to work as a team player in a learning environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the event calendar and Company needs.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with product information, including features and benefits, for products in the Home Store.
• Build customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction.
• Conduct cooking demonstrations.
• Recruit outside chefs for special events.
• Manage special events.
• Support store promotions.
