About The Position

Bloomingdale’s is seeking an experienced culinary professional to facilitate cooking and product demonstrations. The Culinary Specialist will support store promotions, recruit outside chefs for special in-store demonstrations, and manage special events. The role involves learning product information and building customer relationships through personal interaction.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of related experience.
Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and demonstrate an energetic, positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures.
Ability to work as a team player in a learning environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the event calendar and company needs.

Responsibilities

Become familiar with product information, including features and benefits of products in the Home Store.
Build customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction.
Conduct cooking demonstrations.
Recruit outside chefs for special events.
