About The Position
Bloomingdale’s is seeking an experienced culinary professional to facilitate cooking and product demonstrations. The Culinary Specialist supports store promotions, recruits outside chefs for special in-store demonstrations, and manages special events. The role involves learning product information across the Home Store and building customer relationships through personal interaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of related experience.
- Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and demonstrate an energetic, positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures.
- Ability to work as a team player in a learning environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the event calendar and company needs.
Responsibilities
- Learn product information, including the features and benefits of the assigned product and products throughout the Home Store.
- Build customer relationships and loyalty through personal interaction.
- Conduct cooking demonstrations.
- Recruit outside chefs for special events.
- Support store promotions and manage special events.
