About The Position

At Vivie, the Service Ambassador is the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and team members, helping create a welcoming, seamless, and supportive experience. The role manages communications, assists with daily community operations, and upholds safety protocols while reflecting Vivie’s values of hospitality and care. This is an on-call, hourly, non-exempt position in the Administration department at Care Suites of Edina. It has no supervisory responsibilities and requires no travel. The position receives leadership from the Executive Director or Administrator.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in difficult situations.
• Proficiency with computer systems for record-keeping, communication, and security monitoring.
• Ability to pass a state-mandated background check.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, team members, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, guests, vendors, and team members, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
• Answer and direct calls, monitor security cameras, and alert staff to safety concerns or alarms.
• Update resident information, maintain records and logs, and assist with mail and package deliveries.
• Provide concierge-style support to residents and guests while maintaining confidentiality.
• Follow emergency protocols, support search efforts for missing residents, and adhere to security policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned; listed responsibilities are representative and not necessarily all-inclusive.
