About The Position

Jerry Seiner Salt Lake KIA is seeking an outgoing, motivated, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join its busy and growing service department. The Service Advisor is the primary point of contact for service customers, helping them understand their vehicles’ needs while providing an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
Basic automotive knowledge and ability to explain vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet dealership insurance requirements.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Pre-employment screenings may include background screening, drug testing, and a motor vehicle record check.

Previous automotive dealership or Service Advisor experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally and provide an exceptional service experience.
Perform vehicle walk-arounds with customers during check-in.
Review customer concerns and recommend appropriate maintenance and repairs.
Prepare accurate repair orders and obtain necessary customer and vehicle information.
Communicate recommended services, repair updates, and estimated completion times.
Educate customers about vehicle maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services.
Work with technicians and the service department team to ensure timely, quality repairs.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
