Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of diesel repairs.
• Understanding of fluid power and hydraulics.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong work ethic.
• Attitude to jump in and help out where needed.
• Repair and shop operation knowledge with a strong technical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills – both verbally and written.
• Ability to train technicians at varying levels of experience, skillset and learning styles.
• Able to receive feedback on operations from peers, subordinates and manager and respond in a productive and constructive manner with a focus on solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Hydraulic Experience + Knowledge (HUGE PLUS!)

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the technicians.
• Evaluate technician's skillset and provide training as needed.
• Assist technicians in locating parts / job related issues.
• Schedule shift work.
• Call in customer repairs, Accurate Estimates and approvals/ unit updates.
• Organize shift with parts to pick up and vehicles for repair.
• Invoice repair orders in a timely manner.
• Perform related activities that promote the goals of the Organization.
