About The Position

Norm Reeves Dealerships is seeking an experienced automotive Service Advisor to join its Volkswagen dealership in Port Charlotte, Florida. The role focuses on helping customers understand and address their vehicle service needs, coordinating the service process, and supporting an efficient service department while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

Previous experience in automotive service advisory or customer service roles, preferably in a dealership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance requirements.
Proficiency with computer systems and service-management software applications.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Consult with customers about service requirements and concerns, and document vehicle information and service history accurately.
Perform vehicle walk-arounds and inspections to identify maintenance needs and recommend services based on manufacturer guidelines and customer preferences.
Explain recommended services, costs, and timelines to help customers make informed decisions.
Coordinate service appointments and manage the service schedule to support timely work and service department efficiency.
Keep customers updated on vehicle status and address their questions or concerns throughout the service process.
Coordinate with service technicians and other departments to support workflow and resolve customer issues.
Recommend additional services and accessories when appropriate.
