About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Fremont located at 1520 E. Bates, Springfield, MO 65804. This part-time position involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal service, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate effectively with residents, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The company emphasizes a home-like environment for both residents and team members, with opportunities for growth and employee appreciation.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
