About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server to join their team at Gardens at Arkanshire in Springdale, AR. This role focuses on creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for residents, ensuring the dining area is tidy and well-prepared, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be able to communicate effectively in English, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This position also involves assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe environment.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
