About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Pinnacle Groves in Rogers, AR. This part-time position focuses on creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for residents. The role involves greeting residents, fostering connections, preparing the dining area and food items, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, possess strong English communication skills, have a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires the ability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall assistance, and candidates must be criminally cleared.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
  • Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
  • Foster an environment where residents can connect.
  • Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
  • Bus tables and sweep floors.
  • Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
