Server 4pm-7pm $15-21 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Vitalia Stow. This part-time position offers a starting wage of $15 per hour and involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness. The role also requires observing residents' dietary habits and communicating any changes to supervisors. We are looking for individuals who are at least sixteen years old, can communicate effectively in English, possess a positive and energetic attitude, and are physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to assist residents with mobility and post-fall care is also essential, along with being criminally cleared.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prep tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
- Communicate when residents are absent from meals.
