Server 4pm-7:30pm $15-21 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server for Vitalia Montrose located at 4041 Heritage Center Drive, Copley, OH 44321. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The position requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate effectively in English, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The server will also assist residents with mobility and ensure their safety.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or changes in appetite.
- Report resident absences from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
