Server 4pm-7:30pm $15-21 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server for Vitalia Montrose located in Copley, OH. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, possess good English communication skills, have a positive and energetic attitude, be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and be able to assist residents with mobility and in case of falls. Criminal clearance is required.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
