About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server for their Boulevard Wentzville location. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, possess strong English communication skills, have a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe environment. Arrow Senior Living is committed to promoting from within and values its team members.

Requirements

  • At least sixteen (16) years of age.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
  • Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
  • Foster an environment where residents can connect.
  • Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
  • Bus tables.
  • Sweep floors.
  • Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
  • Communicate when residents are absent from meals.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Assist persons after a fall.
