About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Weekend Warrior Server to join our team at The Fremont Senior Living in Springfield, Missouri. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule and a starting wage of $15.00 - $22.00 per hour. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents and making them feel welcome, being present in the dining room, mingling, entertaining, and fostering an environment where residents can connect. You will also be involved in prepping tables and salads, rolling silverware, bussing tables, and sweeping floors. Additionally, you will communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding residents' dietary habits, appetite changes, and absences from meals.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
• Criminally cleared

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain
• Foster an environment where residents can connect
• Prep tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware
• Bus tables
• Sweep floors
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents are absent from meals
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
• Assist persons after a fall
