About The Position

AJ’s Steakhouse is seeking a Server to help deliver an experience to guests at its award-winning restaurant, where Iowa’s steaks and chops are celebrated. Training is provided. The role is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with Mondays and Tuesdays off. Pay is $8.90 per hour; the stated estimated total including tips is $34.00–$36.00, but tips are not guaranteed. Employees can choose to be paid daily, weekly, or biweekly.

Requirements

• Food service experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push a cart up to 150 pounds.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with information about the menu, dishes, and beverages, and take orders accurately.
• Clear dining tables and take dishes to the kitchen dishwashing area.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and alcohol control policies.
