About The Position

As a Server at BRU Burger Bar, you help ensure guests have a positive dining experience by providing attentive customer service, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and keeping the dining area clean and organized. You assist guests with menu selections, respond professionally to questions and requests, and coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to support smooth restaurant operations. The role also includes promoting specials and other offerings, handling payments, and following health, safety, and company policies. Previous serving experience is preferred but not required, and training will be provided. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment, standing and walking for extended periods, and carrying trays. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide courteous, attentive service throughout their meal.
Help guests choose from the menu and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the restaurant's POS system, verify them before submission, and communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly according to presentation standards, monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide requested items.
Set up and clean tables and keep the dining area clean, maintained, and stocked with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Assist with general restaurant cleaning, dishwashing, and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers, and communicate guest feedback and requests to relevant team members.
Promote daily specials, desserts, and beverages, and suggest additional items or upgrades.
Follow health and safety guidelines, food safety regulations, company policies, and procedures for alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
