About The Position

Robbins Brook in Acton is hiring a Server to join Benchmark’s dining team. The role is focused on fostering a clean and welcoming dining environment and providing friendly, personalized service to residents. Servers take and deliver food and beverage orders, help residents with meal selections and specific needs, and prepare dining areas for scheduled meals. The posting lists full-time day hours from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and part-time evening hours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.; some weekend availability is required for both schedules. The hourly rate is $15 to $16.25. Benefits are available, with eligibility varying by employment status.

Requirements

Able to follow written and oral instructions.
Knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
Able to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand in one place for extended periods; the position is primarily standing.

Responsibilities

Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
Handle requests from residents who need assistance selecting meals or have specific needs.
Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
Assist with inventorying supplies.
