About The Position

As a Server in the community restaurant, you help create an excellent dining experience, build relationships with residents, and deliver the service guests expect in a restaurant. The role involves assisting residents with dining and drink selections, communicating orders through a point-of-sale system, and completing dining room opening and closing duties. The position is full-time, with days and hours varying; evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Requirements

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for residents.
• If under age 18, provide proper schoolwork authorization, if applicable.
• Hold a Food Handler’s Card or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations.
• Strong customer service presentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist with drink selection.
• Communicate specific resident orders using the point-of-sale system.
• Complete dining room opening and closing duties as established by the community.
