About The Position
Amada Senior Care is hiring experienced caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship to seniors and veterans in Nacogdoches, Texas, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes, with support tailored to each client’s individual needs. The role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive, team-oriented work environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel throughout Nacogdoches and surrounding communities.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, caring attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
- Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
- Promote client independence, dignity, and quality of life.
