About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to assist seniors with everyday activities and provide companionship in clients’ homes in North Port and nearby areas. Caregivers provide one-on-one support, follow individualized care plans, and treat clients with dignity and respect. The position offers flexible full-time or part-time scheduling based on client needs, with many opportunities during weekday daytime hours. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour. The employer also offers training, performance incentives, travel reimbursement, career growth opportunities, and support from the office team.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Clean driving record.
- Access to a smartphone and email.
Nice To Haves
- Professional caregiving experience is preferred.
- Caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
- Provide companionship.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide transportation and assist with shopping and errands.
- Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Follow individualized care plans.
- Communicate professionally with families and office staff.
