About The Position

Servers on Bella’s opening team create memorable dining experiences by delivering warm, attentive service and sharing menu knowledge in a restaurant featuring coastal Mediterranean flavors. The role requires a positive, professional approach with guests and coworkers, the ability to provide informed food and beverage recommendations, and responsiveness to guest needs throughout their meals. Servers also maintain the cleanliness of tables and the dining area and complete assigned opening, running, and closing side work. Duties, tasks, schedules, and requirements may change based on guest requests or the needs of the hotel.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of serving experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails.
• Fluent ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to multitask.
• Passion for hospitality and guest connection.
• Professional, polished appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable work ethic.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for the duration of shifts and lift, move, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest’s dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant.
• Maintain a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and drink selections.
• Answer guest questions about food and beverage preparation.
• Inform managers of special accommodations, including food allergies, before communicating them to the kitchen.
• Maintain the cleanliness of tables and the dining area around guests.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work related to the role.
• Check on guests during meals to confirm satisfaction and address requests or concerns.
