About The Position

Apex Entertainment is hiring enthusiastic, high-energy Servers for Apex Entertainment Syracuse. Servers provide a welcoming dining experience in a lively, fast-paced environment by taking and delivering orders, making informed recommendations, and responding professionally to guest needs. The role also supports dining-area upkeep, service-station readiness, and smooth teamwork during busy shifts.

Servers are expected to learn the food and beverage menu, including ingredients and allergen details, and stay informed about the facility’s attractions and experiences so they can assist guests. The position requires schedule flexibility, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; evenings and weekends are required.
• Experience with POS systems and strong cash-handling skills.
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to stay calm and positive in fast-paced situations.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of food and beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
• Event service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service throughout each guest’s visit.
• Create a fun and welcoming atmosphere at every table.
• Share knowledge of food, beverages, and promotions to make recommendations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions and needs.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders, noting allergies and special requests.
• Deliver orders with care and precision.
• Clear and reset tables, keeping the dining area clean and organized.
• Learn the menu, including ingredients and allergen details.
• Stay informed about the facility’s attractions and experiences to answer guest questions and make suggestions.
• Complete opening and closing duties and keep service stations stocked and organized.
• Support teammates by running food, answering phones, and pre-bussing as needed.
• Work with the team to maintain smooth service during busy shifts.
• Monitor activity throughout the facility to anticipate guest needs.
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
