About The Position

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, Servers serve food and drinks while providing Guests with exceptional, timely service. They know the menu, make recommendations, and uphold high standards for safety and sanitation. Servers welcome and engage Guests, help create a memorable experience, deliver accurate orders promptly, process payments, and maintain a clean, stocked, and safe work area.

Requirements

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but is not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Alcohol certification is required where applicable.
• Comply with company uniform standards.
• Be ready to create a memorable Guest experience.
• Demonstrate teamwork.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Act with a swift sense of urgency.
• Be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with Guests, serving as an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate Guests’ needs.
• Follow local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies.
• Process payment transactions and invite Guests to return.
• Keep the work area and server section stocked, clean, and safe, and complete required side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
