About The Position

Apex Entertainment Syracuse is hiring enthusiastic, high-energy Servers to create memorable dining experiences in a lively, fast-paced environment. Servers are the face of the guest experience, taking orders, delivering meals, and helping ensure guests leave satisfied. The role calls for team players who bring personality, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality to every shift.

Servers provide attentive service, share knowledge of food, beverages, promotions, and attractions, and respond professionally to guest questions and needs. They also manage orders, maintain a clean and organized dining area, complete sidework, and support teammates during busy shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends and evenings are required.
• Experience with POS systems and strong cash-handling skills.
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and positive in fast-paced situations.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in food and beverage or hospitality.
• Event service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service throughout each guest’s visit.
• Create a fun and welcoming atmosphere at every table.
• Share knowledge of food, beverages, and promotions to make recommendations.
• Address guest questions and needs promptly and professionally.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders, noting allergies and special requests.
• Deliver orders with care and precision.
• Clear and reset tables while keeping the dining area clean and organized.
• Learn the menu, including ingredients and allergen details.
• Stay informed about the facility’s attractions and experiences to assist guests.
• Complete opening and closing duties and keep service stations stocked and organized.
• Support teammates by running food, answering phones, and pre-bussing as needed.
• Stay aware of activity throughout the facility to anticipate guest needs.
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
